Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October, 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts belongs to the fourth generation of Robertses that live in the Atlanta region, beginning with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was enthusiastic about theatre since a young age. When he was a college student studying at Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he participated in many performances. He joined the military in 1953 and, while stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in Air Force. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple got married in the year 1957. Walter attended Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after he left the Airforce in 1957. Walter started working at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for children named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964, a project they self-financed. The Actors and Writers Workshop was created in the year 1964 and ran for six years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
