Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. She comes from the fourth Roberts family to have resided in Atlanta. This began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was a farm. She inherited her father's interest in theatre from an early age. While in school in Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University and elsewhere in Atlanta. He joined the military in 1953 and, while stationed in Biloxi Mississippi was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the Air force. The couple got married in 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter attended Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in the year 1957. Walter was recruited as a technician by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to work on the set of the show Bum Bum and His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou began producing a children's TV show in the city of Decatur, Georgia titled Bum Bum and His Buddies. The production was funded by the couple by themselves. The following year, they started The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also called Julie) during this period.
